The Summit County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications through June 13, 2012 for positions within our Operations (Patrol) Division. Testing is scheduled for June 20, 2012 in Breckenridge, CO.

Located in Breckenridge, Colorado, the Summit County Sheriff's Office is comprised of more than 70 sworn and civilian personnel across five divisions.

Led by Sheriff John Minor, the Summit County Sheriff's Office offers a unique, rewarding and challenging law enforcement experience.

To be considered for this position applicants must:

1. Currently hold Colorado POST Certification or;

2. Be certified in another state and be able to challenge Colorado POST for certification or;

3. Be currently enrolled in a POST approved academy and will obtain POST Certification within 3 months of the testing date.
