MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 21 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED; prefer a Degree in Police Administration, Public Administration or Criminal Justice related field or related Police experience
- candidates who are not currently certified as a Law Enforcement Officer in Illinois may also be considered if they meet minimum requirement by statue for certification eligibility
- must maintain residency within the village

- physical agility test
- psychological test
