MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 20 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- successfully completed the NC Basic Law Enforcement Training or currently be certified as a law enforcement officer in North Carolina, and/or be certified as a firefighter in accordance with the NC State Fire Marshal's Office


SELECTION PROCESS
- oral interview
- drug screening test
- background investigation
- medical examination
- psychological test
