HOW TO APPLY
The Hardeman County Sheriff's Department is accepting applications for a full-time Patrol Deputy. The Sheriff's Department has a contract with the City of Quanah to provide law enforcement for the city. This position patrols the City of Quanah, responds to calls for service, investigates offenses, enforces traffic laws and serves civil papers. This position requires the person to work varied shifts including nights and weekends. Hardeman County offers a competitive salary with paid overtime, a uniform allowance, take-home car, sick time, personal days, vacation, medical insurance and retirement. Applicants must be peace officer certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education or be a recent graduate of a Texas Peace Officer Academy. All applicants must have a valid Texas driver's license and be able to pass a drug screen, psychological test and physical examination.
