STARTING SALARY
$29,361 for a high school diploma or its equivalent
$30,848 for an Associate Degree
$32,410 for a Bachelor's Degree
$34,050 for a Master's Degree
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 20 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
SELECTION PROCESS
- written entrance exam
- oral interview
- physical agility test
HOW TO APPLY
The Mobile Police Department usually operates two Academy Classes per year. The application process starts at the Mobile County Personnel Board. At this time, the board will accept only an ORIGINAL application form. Interested persons are asked to contact the Personnel Board directly for applications and testing dates.
