HOW TO APPLY
If you are interested in applying for a position as a police officer with the Opelika Police Department, your first step is to fill out an application form and turn it into the City's Human Resources Department, located at 205 South 6th Street (small building right across from the Lewis Cooper Jr., Memorial Library). You can obtain an application form by either downloading it here or getting a "hard copy" directly from the Human Resources Department. After you have completed the application process with Human Resources, someone from the Opelika Police Department will be in touch with you to walk you through the rest of the process.
