STARTING SALARY
Pay is based on years of service:
1 yr: $25.54
2 yrs: $26.84
3 yrs: $28.22
4 yrs: $29.65
5 yrs. $31.16
6 yrs. $32.60
7 yrs. $34.01
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
You must currently hold peace officer certification. If you are certified in Arizona, you must have 2080 hours, post-academy field experience as a police officer or reserve officer. If you are certified in another state, you must have two (2) years experience as a police officer within the last three (3) years. Out of state candidates will be required to pass an AZPOST waiver examination.
