HOW TO APPLY
All potential Police Officer Applicants must complete a City of Tempe Employment Application
and the Recruit Applicant Background Questionnaire.
Please bring the completed Employment Application with a photo ID to the written examination. There is no need to pre-register for the written exam but please show up early so you have enough time to finish.
Applicants who pass both the Written Examination and the Physical Agility portions of the testing process must complete a Personal History Questionnaire and bring it with them to their scheduled Oral Board Interview.
