MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must meet or exceed the minimum standards for Georgia Peace Officer
Standards & Training, including but not limited to:
- be a U.S. citizen
- be at least 21 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- possess a Georgia Operator's License and have a good driving record
- have a clean background and be of good moral character
- be physically and mentally capable to perform essential job functions of a police officer

SELECTION PROCESS
- oral interview
- polygraph test
- drug screening test
- background investigation
- medical examination
- physical agility test
- psychological test
- fingerprinted for any existing criminal record

HOW TO APPLY
