MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 21 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- possess two years full time experience as a sworn police officer
OR
- possess sixty-four (64) college credits
OR
- possess a Level One Reserve Office Certification from Idaho POST
SELECTION PROCESS
- written entrance exam

- physical agility test
- psychological test
HOW TO APPLY
Written and physical agility tests will be administered by PublicSafetyTesting.com. Please visit their website, www.publicsafetytesting.com for information regarding application fees, application instructions, test procedures, test dates and locations.
Applicants who achieve a passing score on both the written and physical agility tests will be contacted by the City of Nampa and given an assigned date and time for an oral interview in their notification letter. Applicants must present picture identification at the time of the oral interview.
