MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 21 years of age
- possess a high school diploma or GED
- must be licensed or certified by the Minnesota Peace Officers Standards & Training (POST) Board as eligible to be licensed as a full time peace officer

HOW TO APPLY
Applications will be held up to 12 months for the next hiring process. All applicants must complete a
City of Brooklyn Park Police Officer application. You can get an application mailed to you by calling Rhonda at 763-493-8017, or pick up an application at the Customer Service Counter in the lobby of City hall (5200 85th Avenue North, Brooklyn Park) or Police Department (5400 85th Avenue North -- it's the building between the Community Activity Center and City Hall on the north side of 85th Avenue.)
