HOW TO APPLY
The Havre Police Department is a member of the Montana Law Enforcement Testing Consortium (MLETC). The MLETC administers a written and physical test to qualified applicants for the position of entry-level peace officer. Applicants who successfully pass the written and physical fitness tests will be placed in an eligibility pool and may apply with participating agencies when that agency is accepting applications. The qualified applicant will be eligible for hire for one year from the date of successfully completing the tests. November 2, 2008 is the last day you can register to take the tests in 2008.
