HOW TO APPLY
The Park County Sheriff Department is a member of the Montana Law Enforcement Testing Consortium (MLETC). The MLETC administers a written and physical test to qualified applicants for the position of entry-level peace officer. Applicants who successfully pass the written and physical fitness tests will be placed in an eligibility pool and may apply with participating agencies when that agency is accepting applications. The qualified applicant will be eligible for hire for one year from the date of successfully completing the tests. You can find out where the tests will be given and you can register to take the tests by clicking here. There is a $35 fee to register for the tests.
The County of Park County will only accept an application or resume for a specific job/position opening. Therefore, if you are interested in employment opportunities within the County of Park County, keep your eye on the County's web page, the Bozeman Daily Chronicle or the Bozeman Job Service. All employment applications must be submitted through the Bozeman Job Service Center.
